Chalet cleaning between two stays, before you arrive or at a rhythm through the year, by a team that sets off from Ugine every morning. Wood, stone and large volumes treated properly, keys kept safe, photos sent the same day. Quote within 24h.
A chalet is not cleaned like a city flat: the floors are wood or stone, the ceilings are high, the stove leaves a film on everything around it, and nobody lives there all year to notice what is wearing out. We are a cleaning company based in Ugine, where the roads of the Tarentaise, the Beaufortain and the val d'Arly meet: the nearest ski resorts in both departments are thirty minutes away, the highest a little over an hour and a half, and we drive up all year round, in winter for changeovers, in summer for long stays, between seasons to put the chalet back in order. Whether your chalet is let, lived in a few weeks a year or kept to the standard of a guesthouse, we work with your keys, your instructions and your linen, and every visit ends with a photo report, room by room, that you can read wherever you are.
When a chalet is rented, everything happens between the suitcases leaving in the morning and the keys handed over in the afternoon, on Saturday in winter, often midweek in summer. We arrive with your instructions and your keys, strip the beds, note what is missing or damaged, then take each room in order: the kitchen and its appliances, the bathrooms, the bedrooms, the living room and the corner around the stove, the entrance where melted snow has left salt and grit. The linen is yours: we take it off, remake the beds with the clean set you leave in the cupboard, and put the rest away for the next visit. You are not on site: the photo report goes out before we leave, room by room, so you know the state in which your chalet welcomes the next guests.

A chalet closed for several months picks up a musty smell, a film of dust on the beams and skirting boards, and sometimes a surprise: a leak, a mouse, a shutter banging. Before you arrive, we air the rooms, dust from top to bottom, wash the floors and bathrooms, make the beds and open the shutters, so that you walk into a chalet that smells clean, not of the cellar. If you come often, we agree on a rhythm, every two weeks or once a month, with one visit in spring, once the lifts have closed, and another in autumn, before the first snow. At home, this cleaning counts as a personal service: as a private client, you pay half of the amount invoiced, the other share being met by the tax credit, always within the annual ceiling set by law. Note: services linked to letting are excluded.

In a chalet of this standard, cleanliness is measured by what you no longer see: marks on a stone worktop, a glass ring on an old wooden table, the grey film on a five-metre bay window, dust on a chandelier you cannot reach without a stepladder. We use products suited to each material, a method for each room and a final check by two people, as in a guesthouse: beds made with square corners, towels folded the same way in every bathroom, cushions and throws back in their place. At the end of the season, we offer a complete reset, from the top of the wardrobes to the tile joints, so that the chalet goes through the off-season closed but clean.

A second home that you occupy yourself counts as your home: as a private client, the cleaning invoice costs you half price, the tax credit meeting the other half, within the annual ceiling set by law. For a chalet that is let, the rule is clear, services linked to letting are excluded: we then issue a standard quote, without this reduction.

FAQ
Keys, linen, rhythm, materials, tax credit, what we do and what we do not do: the answers owners ask for before a first visit.
For chalet owners in Savoie and Haute-Savoie, whether they let their chalet, live in it a few weeks a year or keep it to the standard of a guesthouse. Many live far away, sometimes abroad: we work with their keys, their written instructions and a photo report at every visit. Agencies that manage several chalets also hand us their changeovers, on a grouped round.
The rhythm and the invoice. A rented chalet is cleaned between two stays, on Saturday in winter, with your keys and your linen, and the report goes out before the next arrival: that is our end-of-stay cleaning. A family chalet is cleaned before you arrive, at an agreed rhythm, with a season opening and closing; at home, this cleaning qualifies for the tax credit, whereas services linked to letting are excluded.
As you prefer: a set of keys we keep and track, a key box whose code you give us, or a handover by your agency, your neighbour or your caretaker. We note the access instructions once and for all, alarm included, and a message confirms our visit the day before.
The linen is yours: we strip and remake the beds with the clean set you leave available, and we put the used linen where you tell us. We do not supply sheets and we do not wash them. The products and equipment are ours, chosen for the wood, stone and fabrics of a chalet.
Yes, and that is what sets a chalet apart from an apartment. Waxed or oiled wood is cleaned without standing water and without harsh products, natural stone without acid, stove glass when cold, fabrics and hides dry. We adapt the products room by room and, at the first visit, we ask you what your craftsmen fitted and how they maintain it.
No. We clean the chalet and put it back in order, with the photo report. Welcoming guests, the listing, bookings and rental management stay with you or your agency, with whom we are happy to coordinate keys and timings.
No. Treating wooden cladding and balconies, staining, sandblasting and roofs are trades other than ours. Outside, we sweep the terrace and the balcony, wash the garden furniture and the windows, glazed gables included from the ground.
If it is your second home and you occupy it yourself, yes: a private client who occupies their chalet only pays half of it, the tax credit meeting the balance within the annual ceiling set by law. A chalet that you let follows another rule, because services linked to letting are excluded: its quote is issued without this reduction.
