Windows at height

Window cleaning at height up to 12 m, with pure water

Hard-to-reach windows and glass façades cleaned from the ground, with a telescopic pole and pure water, no cherry picker or scaffolding, in Savoie and Haute-Savoie.

Height is no longer an obstacle

Verandas, bay windows, building façades or glass roofs: we reach your windows up to 10-12 metres with a pure-water system and carbon-fibre poles. A service from the ground, safer and faster, with no cherry picker.

Albertville basin, Ugine and val de Chaise

Verandas, glass roofs, roof lights and upper-floor windows

On the slopes of Marthod, Venthon or Faverges, many houses are built into the hillside: a whole storey above a bank or a sunken garage, and a veranda added on the valley side. For the upper windows, the pole works at an angle from the lawn, where no ladder stands straight. The veranda raises a different problem, because near-horizontal glazing catches everything that falls and never sheds it on its own: sap from lime and maple trees, fir needles stuck in the corners of the frames, April pollen that crusts over after a shower. We wash it from above, with a soft brush and then a demineralised water rinse, using nothing that would attack the seals or the paint on the frames, and we wipe the rails before leaving: that is where dust comes back first.

Glazed gables, fanlights and XXL bays of chalets

In the resorts, the living-room façade is often a large triangle of glass rising two storeys up to the ridge, flanked by a stairwell fanlight and glass railings on the balconies. This is exactly where the pole comes into its own: from the terrace, or from the bank above the chalet when the slope allows, it reaches the tip of the gable with no ladder wedged on packed snow and no scaffolding. Altitude calls for two precautions: keep the brush head below the snow guards on the roof, and spare the larch joinery, which no detergent should touch. We schedule these jobs between the thaw and summer, then in autumn before the first snow, when rentals pause and the water does not freeze in the hose.

Lake Annecy shore

Panoramic bays, glass railings and glazed façades

From Sevrier to Duingt on the west shore, from Veyrier-du-Lac to Talloires on the east shore, villas turn towards the water with bays rising two heights above the terrace and glass railings around the balconies. Lake humidity leaves fine limescale halos on the outer face, even more visible when the evening sun hits the glass. The pole washes these large surfaces from the terrace or from the lawn running down to the shore, and each railing is done on both faces; the reflection of the lake, sharp or blurred, then serves as the check. The same gesture, further out in the Albertville basin, applies to glazed façades, entrance canopies and shop signage, cleaned before opening without closing the shop.

Private clients, in your own home

Height changes nothing about the tax credit

In a private home, cleaning a glass roof or an upper-floor bay is the same window cleaning as at ground level, so it qualifies for the 50%. The pure-water pole avoids the cherry picker and the immediate advance cuts the invoice in two. For an apartment block or business premises, however, the scheme does not apply.

  • The Urssaf takes half the invoice, so you never front the rest.
  • Valid in your main home and in your second home alike.
  • A credit, not a deduction: you receive it even if you pay no income tax.

-50%

of your invoice, taken off at the moment you pay.

How it works

For private clients only, for work carried out in your own home, up to the annual ceiling. Under article 199 sexdecies of the French tax code.

FAQ

Window cleaning at height: frequently asked questions

Reachable height, method, verandas, frequency, resorts, access to the house: what we are asked before a job.

  • Up to 10 to 12 metres from the ground, which matches a ground floor plus three storeys, or the glazed gable of a chalet seen from the terrace. Beyond that we do not improvise: we say so and point you to someone equipped for that height.

  • That is the pole's classic case: it works at an angle, from wherever you can stand. An upper-floor window above a bank, a garage below or a hedge gets cleaned with no ladder leaning on the render and without trampling the planting.

  • Because it removes everything expensive around the cleaning itself: no cherry picker hire or road permit, no scaffolding to erect, no shop closed for half a day. The team arrives, unrolls the hose and works from the pavement or the lawn. Cherry pickers and rope access still make sense above 12 metres, or when the ground leaves no room to step back.

  • Yes, and they make up a large share of our work at height. Sloping glazing is brushed from above at low pressure, then rinsed with demineralised water. We do not climb onto the structure: it is not built to carry weight.

  • Two visits a year suit most exposed glass façades: one at the end of winter, one in autumn. Along a busy road or under trees, a quarterly rhythm keeps the glass clear. We come back to you at the right season, so you have nothing to schedule.

  • Yes, and that is where the pole is used most, because of the glazed gables. Megève is 40 minutes from our base, Crest-Voland and Les Saisies 30, Courchevel 1h10: we group chalets in the same area into one day. Visits are set outside the snow season, in spring or autumn, and we check terrace access and parking space for the van beforehand.

  • Not for the outer face: the pole works from the garden or the terrace without going in. For the inner face of a bay or a gable, we need access, so someone present or keys handed over in advance. For a second home by the lake or in a resort, we send photos of the glazing after the visit.
