On the shores, a tenant leaving often means a larger home, let all year round. In Sevrier, villas whose sliding bays open onto the water; in Saint-Jorioz, flats in residences with a balcony and a cellar; in Duingt, village houses squeezed between the road and the shore. In Talloires, older homes have stone or wooden floors that need the right washing. In Menthon-Saint-Bernard and Veyrier-du-Lac, houses set on the slope have terraces and large glazed surfaces, where the light off the lake shows every mark.
